Qualifications:  NC PT license to practice as a Physical Therapist.  The NC PT has the opportunity to work with a myriad of (primary geriatric) patient conditional all in one building.  Therapist to therapist and therapist to nursing collaboration is excellent and RSL staff members universally tout this as highly productive and fun department in which to work.  Active PT involvement in program development is vital to the clinical and financial success of the NC.  The PT in this job will be asked to learn and to contribute to improving the programs and interventions in geriatric, cognitive, and community re-integration.  Strong organization and collaboration skills are important characteristics for a PT in this position.  This opportunity is well suited to a PT who wants to make a material difference in the care delivered at the premiere facility in our market area.  This position will assist with weekend coverage for HCMH & RRC (usually one weekend a month).  SNF experience preferred but not required.  New graduates considered.070308NP

Qualifications: The RRC COTA is a new position, created as a result of record HCMH hospital volume, higher patient acuity at the RRC, and more 7-day-a-week coverage throughout the RSL. Therapist-therapist and therapist-Nursing collaboration is part of the fabric of the RRC. Active involvement in service improvement is vital to the clinical and financial success of the RRC.  The COTA in this job will be asked to learn and to contribute to improving programs and interventions in geriatric, cognitive, and community re-integration. As the need unfolds, we may ask the COTA to participate in outpatient pediatric and/or physical disabilities rehabilitation as appropriate.  This opportunity is well suited to a COTA who enjoys on-site OTR consultation and the ability to creatively manage a varied caseload. Position: Rehab Tech II

Qualifications: Join the professional staff of the Rehabilitation Service Line (RSL) as the Rehab Technician II in our Regional Rehab Center (RRC). This is a combined clinical and administrative support position critical to the successful operation of the RRC, the Outpatient Front Office, and the Rehabilitation Service Line (RSL).  The clinical functions of the position require a high level of sensitivity to the needs and feelings of ill people and their families. In addition, the candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills. One must also be able to physically assist patients of all sizes with positioning, transfers, ambulation, exercise and the like. C.N.A. credentials or rehabilitation setting experience is a plus but is not required. The administrative support component of the job requires the candidate to possess functional working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to type at least 55 WPM. Minimum of two years of recent clerical/secretarial experience required. Medical insurance and clerical and data experience is strongly desired. Both the clinical and administrative support elements of the Rehab Technician II job require a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of basic medical terminology, basic data entry and email computer skills, superior phone skills, plus organizational and time management competencies. The ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and ensure accurate, safe and timely completion of multiple duties is important to success in this job.
