Hospital Foundation – Chamber to Host 5th Annual Yadkin Valley Wine Auction

Elkin---The Yadkin Valley Chamber of Commerce will once again sponsor the Yadkin Valley Wine Auction benefiting Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation. The auction will feature a draw down trip-for-two. Set for the eve of the Yadkin Valley Wine Festival, the auction will be held on Friday, May 18th at the newly renovated and refurbished Holiday Inn Grand Ballroom. The wine auction is a project that will advance healthcare in our community through an event that promises to be an evening to remember and will benefit the Foundation’s 2007 campaign.

Area wineries have pledged to donate regional wines for tasting and wines to be auctioned at the event. Among other auction items donated will be rare wines, trips, jewelry, original art, furniture, clothing, fine dining, decorator items, and many other savory gifts.
