“My stroke left me paralyzed on the left side and I was in the Regional Rehab
Center for 34 days. Dr. Watson and the whole staff worked with me on exercises,
moving my hands and legs. They knew my limitations, what I could do and couldn’t
do. I got Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. Also diet advice
from a nutritionist – you know, the food was pretty good. It was like family.”
“Thanks to the staff, I’d come back. They couldn’t treat me any
nicer and they helped in every way they could. I’m a lot better now. I can
walk, talk and even get out and drive a tractor.”
“When I was transferred to the Regional Rehab Center, I was overwhelmed with
the challenges that faced me. I was unable to feed myself, walk or do any of my
activities of daily living without assistance. My illness was a life-altering change
that affected not only me but my family as well. I had to adjust from being in charge
and providing health care to being a patient, dependent on other health care providers
to care for me."
“The Regional Rehab Center therapy staff performed extensive evaluations to
assess my functional abilities in every area. With the help of the staff I regained
the strength to walk, feed myself and do the activities of daily living."
