All are wired for easy telephone and cable television hookup. Plus, there are individual controls for heating and air conditioning, an auxiliary heating system in the bathroom and a single-story design that eliminates stairs both inside and out.

Parkwood Place is designed around a series of six, inner-connected neighborhoods (called courts) and a central community area which offers a parlor, dining room, fitness room, library, arts and crafts room, game and entertainment areas, a barber/beauty shop and personal laundry rooms.

As a Parkwood Place resident, you are assured priority consideration for admission to the Hugh Chatham Nursing Center should you need skilled nursing care.
One convenient monthly fee at Parkwood Place includes all these features:
Maintenance and utilities except telephone (including heating, air conditioning, water, trash removal and basic cable TV)
Two meals a day
Weekly maid service
Scheduled transportation, planned social and recreational activities
A security deposit, equal to one month's service fee on the apartment-home selected, is payable upon move-in. It will be deposited in an escrow account and is refundable to the resident, or his estate, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Residence Agreement.
The monthly service fee is payable by the fifth day of the month. Fees vary according to the size of apartment-home selected.
In addition to your rent, the fee includes maintenance and utilities except telephone (including heating, air conditioning, water, trash removal and basic cable TV). Also, two meals a day, weekly maid service, scheduled transportation, planned social and recreational activities.
